Description

Type: Basement

Style: Tudor Style

Built in: 1920-1929

Details:

On this project, the team worked to renovate a basement in a Tudor style home that was originally built in 1922. We were able to maximize the ceiling height by excavating the basement and relocating the HVAC system to the floor. We were also able to maximize the square footage by adding an addition to the lower level with a covered deck above that is accessed from the main level. With the increased ceiling height and space, the team created a gym and family room separated by sliding doors, laundry and mudroom with custom storage for skis and gear, hallway, and two bedrooms with built-in beds separated by a jack-and-jill bathroom.
