This Northern Utah home underwent a full interior and exterior remodel. The existing home offered an ideal location with stunning mountain views, but was dated and did not offer the spaces the homeowners wanted. Our team got to work figuring out what was working for them and what was not. We started on the exterior where we updated the curb appeal with new siding, stone, and a beautiful wrap around porch that connects the front and back yards. On the back of the home, we added a deck with a pergola.
On the main level, we combined the existing kitchen and breakfast nook to create a large kitchen with a full wall of cabinets, an island with seating, and beautiful finishes throughout. We then were able to add a walk-in pantry between the kitchen and dining room that offers the perfect spot for storing appliances and additional prep space. Located just beyond the kitchen is the newly created mudroom where we removed two unfunctional closets and replaced them with built-in cubbies. Now each member of the family, including the dog, has a spot for their things.
Upstairs, the existing primary suite had an extremely large bedroom and bathroom but lacked closet space. Our team updated the floor plan in the primary suite to create a more standard sized bedroom, a large bathroom with a soaking tub, and a large walk-in closet. We also added a second entrance into the primary closet - one from the bathroom and one from the hallway - for easy access to the laundry room.
After a full remodel the home not only offers the location that the homeowners love, but also a layout that fits their needs with modern finishes throughout.
