Renovation Design Group is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including, those with disabilities. We aim to meet the standards set by WCAG 2.1 AA and are currently working to improve accessibility across the site to achieve this.
Accessible and Non-Accessible Features of the Website:
Throughout 2025 and into early 2026, we developed an updated website that prioritizes accessibility. This included conducting audits of the existing site, rebuilding the back-end programming, and implementing new and standardized tools that improve accessibility across the site. The site has been rated very high by multiple accessibility checkers.
However, we are aware that some parts of our website do not meet these standards and are working to address the following:
- Ensure that posts on the website are standardized to include clear headers, appropriate spacing, and links with descriptions
- Audit existing content to address misused capitalizations, strikethroughs, and underlines
- Add alternative text for images
- Address the discrepancy with hovering over linked content
