Description
Type: Basement Excavation
Style: Bungalows
Details:
At this 1910s Craftsman Bungalow, the existing home offered historic charm and a great location, but the basement lacked connection to the main level and functionality for a growing family. We worked closely with the homeowners, engineer, and contractor, to replace an existing addition as well as improve and expand the partially finished basement.
The new addition includes a combined laundry room and mudroom with direct access to the backyard and stairs to the basement. In the basement, the space is now finished with 9 foot tall ceilings and includes a multi-purpose family room, pantry, and hallway with access to two bedrooms and the bathroom. We also added storage throughout; including, storage under the stairs.
