Recent Projects – Exterior Remodels
Bonneville Ranch
This ranch-style home renovation included a full rebuild of the garage, a small mudroom addition on the front elevation, and an exterior remodel to update the curb appeal of the home. Our design ties all of the spaces, new and existing, together into one cohesive feel.
Willow Renovation
The exterior of this two-story Northern Utah home now features a transitional design that defines the various architectural components on the front facade with lighter tones on the home’s exterior and darker tones as accents on the columns, roof, lighting, and windows.
13th Avenue Traditional
At this cape-style home, our work on the exterior included improving the use of the lot with an expanded driveway and new steps, adding a covered front porch, converting an existing side porch into a screened porch, and updating the siding for a consistent look.
Honey Locust Exterior
What started as a dated, overgrown, and unusable landscape has been transformed into this beautiful mid-century modern exterior. In the front, key changes included relocating the air conditioner, enlarging the front porch, adding a privacy wall for the garage side door, and updating the materials.
Holladay Contemporary Ranch
At this Holladay home, our scope of work included adding a new, expanded entryway. We also updated the exterior with new siding, stone, and landscaping to elevate the curb appeal. Along the side of the home, we added a large deck with a pergola for some additional outdoor entertaining space.
Gilmer Drive Dutch Colonial
This two-story historic home renovation included a curb appeal update. We extended the gambrel roof to make room for a closet, expanded the front porch, updated the windows, and installed new landscaping. The new design took what was a beautiful Dutch Colonial home and elevated it.

FAQs – Exterior Remodels
Sometimes. Depending on your home’s current style and the style you are hoping for it to be, we might be able to make some adjustments. Keep in mind though that some aspects of your current home might not transition easily to certain styles.
Matching the interior and exterior design styles is totally up to you. We often recommend coordinating the two for a consistent feel.
Possibly. Depending on how extensive the project is and your tolerance levels for all the things that come with a job site, you might be able to live onsite during construction. Make sure to talk with your contractor about this to see what they recommend.
The difference between an architect and a landscape architect is that the architect designs the house layout, and the landscape architect designs the landscape layout. For an exterior remodel, the two work very closely together with the architect mostly focusing on the house and the landscape architect mostly focusing on the yard.
While you do not need to hire a landscape architect, after the project is complete, new landscaping will likely be needed, and we highly recommend working with one. They will work with you and us to create a landscape plan that ties in with the updated house design and takes full advantage of your lot.
