Description

Type: Kitchen

Style: Tudor Style

Built in: pre-1900

Details:

On this project, the team worked to renovate a home originally built in the 1890's to create a more open-concept layout on the back of the home. The existing house featured a rear sunroom space off of the kitchen that the client primarily used for laundry and storage. It also had a small bedroom on the main floor that was narrow and underutilized. In order to maximize usability, we were able to repurpose this bedroom into the laundry room, adjust the bathroom layout, and replace the existing sunroom with an addition space to create room for an updated kitchen and sitting room. The original kitchen space has since become the dining room with easy access to the addition space with a large opening.
